The Megan Curry Memorial Flip-A-Thon donates all proceeds to The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, Ronald McDonald House and the Megan Curry Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Ronald McDonald House
Helping a child fight their illness takes a big enough emotional toll on a family. Adding a financial strain can make it almost too much to bear. RMHC can help address those problems, whether it is providing housing that's near a hospitalized child, the expense of staying together in another city, or even getting basic medical and dental care in a vulnerable community. In 2015, RMHC has local chapters in 63 countries and regions with:
- 357 Ronald McDonald Houses
- 206 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms
- 49 Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles
- Grants to non-profit organizations that also focus on the needs of children
- Scholarships to students across the United States
- Chapters around the world creating country-specific programs
Since 1974, RMHC has helped address these needs every day, with 305,000 volunteers and staff members, our connections with medical communities around the world, partnerships with respected companies and our generous donors.

Megan Curry Memorial Scholarship
The Megan Curry Memorial Scholarship has been established to honor the memory of Grassfield High School cheerleader, Megan Curry. Megan was an integral member of the Grassfield varsity competition cheerleading team beginning her freshman year in 2011. Due to a rare genetic blood disorder Megan underwent a stem cell transplant in March 2014 that prevented her from participating in athletics her senior year. Through her arduous battle with this disease Megan was determined to make a difference in the community by helping others in need. Megan became the inspiration behind the Grizzly Cheer Flip-A-Thon. It is this deep sense of public service and selfless concern for others that made her passing in June 2015 so devastating. Megan was greatly loved by her coach, teammates, classmates, and teachers and will continue to be an inspiration to all. Megan epitomized the essence of what is means to be a true teammate and will forever be a GrizzlyWith the support of the Curry Family and the Grassfield Community, the Megan Curry Memorial Scholarship was established to be awarded to graduating seniors at Grassfield High School beginning with the Class of 2016.
